ASEAN region has reported a total of 15,385,190 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 12 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 15,385,190 Covid-19 cases, this includes 308,740 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,267,451 people (144,144 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,026,473 people (52,511 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,792,035 people (31,723 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,292,290 people (21,872 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,930,428 people (34,787 deaths)
- Myanmar: 532,402 people (19,295 deaths)
- Singapore: 287,243 people (838 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,670 people (3,015 deaths)
- Laos: 120,520 people (457 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,678 people (98 deaths)
